Old Graces

We are thrilled to have guest contributor Kim Abel join us in this issue with her article, "Retirement Home Turns into a New Crib." This piece is inspired by her mother's recent move to a more suitable setting at this point in her life.

This issue joyfully finds our way to Catching Up with Artist, Patricia Coleman-Cobb, and Seasoned: A Poem by Patricia Coleman-Cobb. These two entries keep us in step with the artistic talents of Patricia Coleman-Cobb.

We remain amazed at the many talents of guest contributor, Kathy Frederick. In "Artist and Activist: Kathy Frederick, US Navy, Federal Armed Response Officer," she addresses the treatment of our environment and our citizens through her artwork.

The Caregiver: Photography by Millicent Garland, illustrates the many faces of a person hired to give care - strength, composure, and resolve.

We couldn't resist sharing this post from our archives by Susan D. Peters, Insightful Aging. We post this in her memory, as we continue to celebrate her wisdom.

Always insightful and humorous, we welcome back Sheila Hayas-Smiley, this time with AGE AIN’T NOTHING BUT A NUMBER. We stroll with her as she takes us through her unforgettable memories.

We explore the pain of grief through Rosalind Stewart-Jackson's reflections on the solitude of entering peri-menopause in 'Woman in the Mirror: Aging.'

In the In-Between, RJ Starr's moments of mindfulness are captured, and we are pleased to have him return to our pages.

To illustrate style, we can't do better than to welcome back Melanie Whaley with Essential Elements in Essential for Your Soul.
