Patricia Coleman-Cobb is an award-winning designer. Her collection includes many works of art, including beautifully sculpted/mixed media framed pieces, clay sculpted figures and busts, and soft sculptured collectable dolls. Ms. Coleman-Cobb has personally handcrafted each and every detail of her collection.

The collection has received an enthusiastic response from the public. Serious collectors from across the globe have collected these one-of-a-kind and limited-edition pieces. She is the winner of the 2018 Trailblazer in the Arts Award and the 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award at the Black Women in Jazz and The Arts Ceremony held in Atlanta, Georgia. Her work has been featured in galleries, newspapers, books, traveling exhibits, television, and magazines; most recently, the 2018 May/June issue of SEWN magazine, in which she is the featured Artist.

Ms. Cobb is also the author of two books to date. Her first book, "Angels in the Mud," was published in April 2003, where this talented artist takes you on a soulful voyage, intertwining her life and her art with a common thread.

Her latest book, “Confessions from the Cloth”, is a book of soft-spoken poetic words, stories and pictures that bridge her art with lyric. In the logical next step in her evolution, she enhanced the book by following up with an audio album by the same name, lifting the written words off the pages and making them come alive, spoken beautifully to music in her own voice.

Ms. Cobb was born in Philadelphia and is a graduate of Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Clothing and Textiles. Before moving to the Atlanta area and evolving into a full-time artist, she taught at The Art Institute of Philadelphia for twelve years.
