Spotlight on Art by Dawn Blagrove: Women

This is the time of the Divine Feminine. Although my daughter engaged Dawn Blagrove to create a family piece, Blagrove's reflection of females spoke to me about our strength, intuition, warmth, and compassion. I had to share a few of her images with you. Gate open. - Victorine

About Dawn Blagrove

In 2021, Dawn Blagrove found a new passion that turned out to be a healing journey for her—painting. Though she never took a formal art class, she quickly discovered that painting was her sanctuary. It's where she could transform emotions, often heavy ones, into something both beautiful and meaningful.

She has a knack for using acrylics and watercolors, and each medium serves a different mood for her. She'll gravitate towards acrylics when she needs to feel in control, especially if the day's been chaotic. They give her that sense of authority over her creation. On the flip side, if she's had a good day filled with successful collaborations, watercolors are her go-to. It's like the water adds flair, making the final piece a natural team effort.

Dawn's art speaks volumes and is not just for a specific group. She aims to reach anyone who needs a touch of hope or a reminder that there's beauty to be found in this world. Essentially, her art is a form of emotional freedom available to anyone who engages with it.

She's in this for two reasons—personal healing is a big part, but she's also deeply invested in how her art impacts others. She hopes her pieces offer viewers as much comfort and joy as they bring her. It's like a full-circle moment of healing and happiness for her and anyone who experiences her art.
