PROPHETS AND POETS

To all the singers and writers of song

Now is the time of prophets and poets…

Be true

Now is the time of grand soaring sagas

Of Truth

I beg you be true, to the one true call

I beg you be true, to the one true call

Now is the time for singers and weepers

To stay

Now is the time for the warriors

To enter the fray

I beg you be true, to the one true call

I beg you be true, to the one true call

If we do not speak, Truth still explodes from our lips

If we do not act, Truth still drips from our finger tips

Now is the time for Prophets and Poets

To stay…Singing Truth

DEATH BLOW

A Song

Stop strikin’ the death blow

Start lettin’ the love flow

Stop makin’ the death toll

Mount up in our lives

You do damage like tornadoes in the spring

You bring storms and fear with everything you sing

Oh oh in you…

I know it’s buried deep in you

You cause hurricanes with every move you make

But I’m just waitin’ for the Truth and not the Fake

Glühwendel Brennt Durch

In you…

You take the sunshine and you turn it into rain

You take our happiness and turn it into pain

You cause misery and hurt to test our hearts

You do everything to make life fall apart

In you

Oh oh in you

I know that’s buried in you too

You rip out chunks a life just like you are a Pit Bull

Then stand up straight n’ smile pretendin’ that you’re old school

You slash me up one side and then right down the other

Then hug me tight and whisper that you are my Brother

In You…

Use ta see that in you

A True brother in you

Stop strikin’ the death blow

Start lettin’ the love flow

Stop makin’ the death toll

Mount up in our lives

REMEMBERING

I remember feeling things so deeply

Feelings so strong I would weep

But now my life is flat-lining

Walking around in my sleep

Never thought I’d long for the return

Of tears and silent weeping

Now I know the importance of

profoundly and deeply feeling

Never thought I’d wish for crying

And the ache of missing your touch

Now I long for the power again of

Just loving you so much.
