Over the decades, we have seen mild-mannered Americans' willingness to seek compromise to a fault. In our current world, full of takers, we must grow stronger in the negotiation skills needed to help ensure fair treatment and results.

When working with forces that will steamroll you at every turn, a different mindset is needed. Whether in political, social, or other areas, the willingness to grow strength in dealing with others is mandatory.

From a political perspective, we can look back at the times when Democrats received more Presidential Election votes than their Republican opponents yet ceded the Presidency to Republican candidates. Some call it using the "Killer Instinct" or "Operating With Authority".

The Re-election of Donald Trump and his subsequent governance-shaking initial actions are forcing even previously unconcerned citizens to become active in the fight toward maintaining our Constitution and the values we hold dearly.

I gave a speech over 50 years ago at a majority Black Tampa, FL, high school. It was entitled "The End Of Equal Employment And Affirmative Action". My purpose was to help minority students better understand the governmental apparatus set up to help them gain an equal footing in education and future employment opportunities. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is now being attacked by federal and state governmental agencies and corporate America without any thoughts of compromise. U.S. citizens must help create compromise by fighting to keep America's hard-earned gains.

We must also address the elephant in the room."The Imposing Of A South African Like Apartheid-Type Governance In America!". Giving Elon Musk, a known racist, a free hand in the firing of Federal employees when his corporations currently face several discrimination lawsuits should NOT be happening.

I'm asking every good American citizen to WAKE UP to what is happening to our fellow citizens and begin to take actions that stop and/or lessen the impact of the drastic Trump/Musk/Republican actions initiated daily. I don't think that compromise is on their agenda; we must force it to happen.
