Happy Anniversary!
Twelve years ago, we opened a Garden Gate resembling our logo, only younger. As I reflect upon our theme, "Tranquility," I confess to being somewhat biased. I have the privilege of reviewing all the content that passes through our Gate, and with every word written, every piece of art, cuisine, and style shared, I am filled with joy and warmth. Truly, I am brought to a state of tranquility by my contributors and by you, my readers.
Over the years, I've seen books written, exhibitions requested, artists selling their work, and articles submitted to magazines that no longer exist. Yet, we remain here, thanks solely to your support.
This issue is much like our others, in that the content continues to remind us of who and what we are in truth. The artwork, style, and cuisine give us Ahhs...this issue, as they should. The entirety of this issue takes us beyond the illusions of chaos today and into the core of us. The content is a thank you note to you, and I join my contributors in inviting you to take a moment to be still and bask in your tranquility.
