Life. Wonderful kids and grandkids, and sisters from another mother.
So many blessings!
What I received in childhood was interesting – lots of relatives; life kept shifting with a lot of grown-ups when I was young.
What life gave me later was God's stability. He has been a steady place for me.
Because of this, I have tried to offer my family consistency and a safe place to land. I share my experiences not to judge, but to teach. I want them to see where we've been and to be grateful for where we are.
I'm grateful to finally have had my eye surgery.
The first thing that came to mind was that I believe I've offered people a safe space to share their happiness, fears, and sometimes differences without the pressure of having to be a certain way.
What I've received during this time in my life is a better understanding of duality. There can be beauty in having to sit in darkness to understand and appreciate the light.
I think I give my friendship. I hope people remember me as a great friend. I give of myself.
