HAPPY ANNIVERSARY AND THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

This issue marks our eleventh year of bringing you relevant perspectives and vibrant pages of content—written, painted, sculpted, photographed, styled, and prepared just for you. And as with every Anniversary Issue, we start with our mission:

GARDEN SPICES MAGAZINE is an online platform for authors, influencers, and creatives to showcase their work. Our mission is to create a space where we can share our thoughts, stories, and experiences. We are every race, gender, age, spiritual tradition, and physical/mental ability—and we are one garden.

The history of Garden Spices personifies so many of you, and we remember and thank you for moving us forward all these years. We started by gathering global creators who embody our mission, such as Pratik Mamtora, our initial Managing Editor, who brought India with him, and Frank Malaba, who continues to create from Africa and Copenhagen. However, most of our contributors are American, and the unfortunate truth is that American history is under siege.

While America knows little of its true history, we find that much of what we know is currently being erased. Open our pages, and you’ll discover various perspectives on how history has impacted the lives of those who have found their way to serve our mission. Through our categories—including Art & Poetry, Style, and Cuisine—we affirm the importance of continuing to create. Garden Spices will always advocate for and preserve work that reflects our history, our present, and our future.
