This Issue: Celebrate!!

Celebrate!

Here we are, two days before the election of a lifetime.  On November 6th, whether we are “blue” or “red” in the United States, the universal paradigm shift will still be in operation.  We are forever evolving.  So, we might as well celebrate each moment “with our hair flying back.”

This issue we are starting a new series:  Blossom. We will celebrate one Garden Spices Contributor per issue, and Linda Isbell is our first featured image and contributor.  She is an Astrologer, a Health and Wellness Coach, and among many attributes, she is one of my sister friends. One of the first people I solicited to write for Garden Spices, Linda now writes a column, New Directions, which shares modalities for abundant living.

Garnet, 6, at Sports Day.

Purple looks good on Linda, and this powerful color is also celebrated in Contributor Bernie Basley’s  Sport Day’s Celebration: The Color Purple.   Children represent our hopes and dreams for the future, and Bernie’s daughter, Garnet Basley, is resplendent in the color that represents majesty wealth, creativity, wisdom, dignity, devotion, peace, pride, mystery, independence, and magic, all a vital part of our jubilation – the color purple.  Garden Spices is a continuous celebration of us unfolding in “purple” and shares the journey of each Contributor.

Our Contributors are from different cultures and faith traditions.  Our tradition is to recognize them all. The months November and December celebrate holidays for almost every spiritual tradition or culture– Al-Hija, Baha’u’llah, Bodhi Day, Diwali, Christmas,  Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Songkran. Happy blessings from Garden Spices Magazine!

Gate open!
