About the Artist

My name is Desmond Ugiagbe I am from Edo state, Nigeria. I have always loved Art right from childhood and decided to study after secondary school. In 2019 I graduated from the Sculpture Department in the School of Art and Industrial Design at Auchi, Polytechnic Auchi.

I choose to work in scrap metal to produce my sculpture because it is a unique and amazing medium. I was inspired by the works of Nwoga Chijioke Henry he is a Sculptor from Nigeria also.
