I've known Lisa Schneider for quite some time and have seen her beautiful border collies only through images. I was at an art exhibit, and a couple had a dog with an unmistakable likeness to the ones I saw pictured. Immediately, asked if it was a Schneider dog, and it was. I got to pet the dog, and Garden Spices now displays the images Lisa created. Gate open. - Victorine
Artist Statement
I began my journey in digital art 13 years ago, purchasing a Canon MARK111 camera and several high-power lenses. I took many classes to learn to take high-quality photos, then bought Photoshop to edit them, transforming them into Fine Art. I practiced for 5 years, taking as many classes as possible. Digital art was very new 8 years ago, and we had only a handful of instructors. I found a master Photoshop artist, Michelle Parsley, who taught me hand-painting techniques in Photoshop. I have studied for years with her course and invested many hours a day in practicing my craft. My work is hand-painted mixed-media art inspired by a photograph, created with a Wacom Intuos Pro Art Pen. My artwork is created digitally, one brushstroke at a time.
