connection /-‘nektshen n
Are we connected? Let me count the ways. How can I?
Yes, we share the same time, Planet, Sun, And galaxy.
We are all fixed in the now And here.
Only our thoughts and imaginings Seek beyond. But even our thoughts Are anchored here and now With us.
We are one, didn’t you know? Spinning and whirling In constant movement, For all time, Even as we rest.
Our ball of dirt, Earth, Is part of the far-flung cosmic dust Of the universe
All that I am Or can imagine, Is less than a glimmer In the timeless, limitless Light of Being.
We require connection, Are eternally connected, And we cannot separate. Each of us Essential to the All.
My attempts to describe you Define me. My thoughts on you Reveal me. I am Me In relation To how I see you.
Our differences Have no permanence. We are energy In a field of energy. All is energy.
Only from the most myopic Point of view Are we different. Are we different? You and I share the same conditions, Earthling.
The human race, living beings, earth, The solar system, the Milky Way, The universe, All one… Connected.
