Love is like a flame
When it’s out you can’t see yourself I burnt as I lit You sprayed me with blood I crackled but I re-lit to zen You could reburn a blown flame But how will you rebuild the wax? That lowered itself to guide you They say never say never but we do No goodbyes either but sure too Rooted. One direction I could run in – Down Light is the crown of a candle When it wears not the crown nothing is bright. As it shines, it rides the wick Lit with pride it rules the darkness around All aware of the present jewel With head held high it thinks everything is beneath it As it flickers its come hither hair shake It is the was that holds the flame up Prideful flame realizes not that every moment it descends to the ground When one elevates South they don’t rise As you the flame and I the wax And the wick in between us – our love No strings attached? No light, No show, No crown. As long as the body lives The crown can come on anytime The life span of a candle is decided by the volume of its wax The candle shines not what it stands on It shows not what it burns from Hiding its feel all the while Everyone prays upon a rising Sun Someone is praying at all times When reflected upon, darkness multiplies And so does light… Where one is endless The other individuals unite Nothing changes Nothing happens When darkness is multiplied it is divided But light spreads when divided. Wise before wisdom Look for the light Wise beyond wisdom Light outside of me Light within me Big ball of fiery Sun and a firefly Both soaked in light Where one burns endlessly and the other in intervals Darkness is not a coward It is where the flame rests.
