Loved Ones,

Take a look at our featured image of the Wodabe men. The first time I saw a picture of them, I laughed and couldn't understand why they were all made up and with funny faces, crossed eyes, and such. In reality, these men are competing for women to choose them as a suitable spouse. They dress up to attract a woman who will hopefully select them. This is serious business!

That's the thing about humor; it can have two sides. We laugh, and sometimes we realize we're laughing to avoid crying. Our Contributors have found ways to offer a perspective on humor, explaining why we laugh, how humor impacts us, and why we need it to lead a fulfilling life.

Our lives also need art and style, and this issue is filled with Guest Contributing creators to make our souls soar. And we continue serving cuisine that keeps us well-nourished.

Something new. We are adding a new page: Going Local. Our contributors will have a chance to feature one of their favorite local businesses. This page enables us to serve folks close to where we live, and with Garden Spices, that could be anywhere in the world.
