Garden Spices asked, "What brings you comfort?"

Tonya Yeargain
Comfort to me is being with my family. We don’t get together as we used to. Many elders have passed away. However, I also find comfort in being able to help others. I stay focused and careful about some things because of so many factors happening in our country today. 😔 Let’s not forget….
“With Prayer and trusting in God, life is comforting in Life.”

Sara Shapiro
Being together with family and friends, and knowing they are well and safe.

Barbara Tubbs Hill
A cup of herbal tea, a book to get lost in, soft music and a comfortable chair to relax in.

Michael Wisher
Resting on a heated car seat after shoveling ice and snow off the walkways. 😁

Pratik Mamtora
A long hot bubble bath with Epsom salts, essential oils, candles, petals, and Tibetan singing bowls music. 🛀🕯️🌸🥣

Kathleen Jenkins
Not just holidays, but spending time with family & friends as much as possible.

Jayne Anne Jackson
Dogs.

Lois Johnson Crabtree
A nice cup of hot green tea, and a blanket over my feet, while relaxing in my recliner.

Emma Lockridge
Living in a peaceful home and sharing love with my family.

Emily Gloria Ercell Thompson-Holmes
As a lifelong animal lover, nothing brings me comfort like my dogs do.

Donald Crossley
Still knowing that tomorrow is another day.

The New Year commences with us affirming what brings us comfort. We know how to seek solace when we need to find ourselves through any storm. Thank you for sharing your "Ahhhs..." with us.
Our next issue's topic, "Voice," derives from my New Year's post from T.S. Elliot:
"For last year's words belong to last year's language, and next year's words await another voice."
How does your voice sound this year? Has it changed in tone? Is it emphatic, compassionate, humorous, loud, or soft? Digest this word, and let us hear from you.
