I created this series of video paintings by filming details of natural elements with movement, light, and sound, then adding another layer of video editing to create the image for large-format, immersive projection as part of a larger mixed-media installation in progress.

On Resist
In the science of the mind
Resist exists for the purpose of Survival.
Quiet as it’s kept the human mammal,
like all creatures of earth
Are pushed by instinct
to the evolution of forward motion.
Resist is twin balance to the push.
Like water with oil, Like root through soil,
Resist is a daily event.
A foundational nature of law.
Consider the river that ceases to flow,
it becomes fallow.
There, no life can grow.
Resist is twin balance to the push
Now how that looks
resides in the actions
of the individual mind
With Paper, Water, Or by Baldwin's“ Fire Next Time”
In this science of the mind,
the Resist is about a universal will to survive.
